2019 — made for the Elasticity brief, alt.material, Melbourne Design Week
One sheet of stainless steel folded into an S, with a single rod through its centre. Sit on it and it gives — the steel bounces.
Bringing play forward as art. The sculpture is flexible in the middle — it moves and wobbles, it has bounce. A way to show the softness in hard materials, balancing masculine and feminine.
