2022, commissioned — with Bench 20 and Chair 20, one family in Crema Maya limestone
Crema Maya limestone from the Yucatán. Thick slabs laid across stone legs, cut faces against split edges — the same language as the bench and chair it was made with.
Like the whole 20 series, this table is inspired by the timber joinery of East Asian temples. Reduced to the smallest, simplest shapes, each crossing of planes references the old way of making joints — raw and solid, yet detailed.
